Who we are?
JP Comfort Home decrees to uphold, in faith, and in truth, the fundamental freedoms for all people and especially for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Remembering and realizing the Rights and Freedoms as set out in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Human Rights Act as some of the highest laws in the land.
As a service agency, JP Comfort Home shall cultivate a space that honours persons with IDD’s dignity and equitable rights to develop and maximize their own lifestyle through the best and supportive practices for social inclusion into the Canadian society.
It is our vision for persons with IDD to be recognized and valued for their self-determined goals and individual plans for their future.
Through this framework, our clients are seen as functioning participants in their own lives having the ability to guide themselves through their own community, and in many cases beyond it. At JP Comfort Home Inc. we know how important it is to create a space where the people we serve can comfortably live, grow and discover their full potential with the dignity and respect they deserve.
It is our core mission to provide a comfortable place where people with developmental and intellectual disabilities are supported to have a stable and inclusive life tailored to their individual needs.
We depend on promoting and building partnerships with families, employees, mentors and the surrounding community to resourcefully shape the direction and enrich the people we serve.
